I am struggling to accept the nightmare that is Windows 8. My biggest problem is that every time I swipe to the left on the mouse pad (the finger-driven laptop one, that is) whatever I am doing is replaced by the right-side menu and sometimes I’m even completely transported to the Start screen.
I’m sick to death of losing games because I get eaten or stabbed while I’m trying to get back from the intrusive Menu.
Is there any way to turn that off and make it show up only when I click for it?
