Windows media player- playing a certain file on startup.

I’m trying to make a small video for my wife when I’m away on business. I’m looking for a way to tell windows media player to open up a certain file, and then go to full screen mode on start-up. I know back in the “old” days, you used to be able to use different command line prompts to start a program, then perform a series of actions. For example;

c:\windows\mediaplayer.exe /c:\my music\song.mp3 /f (for full screen)

Does anyone know if this is possible now? I can’t find any documentation, and have tried various combinations from the prompt, with no luck. Thanks.

Oh, and I’m using WMP 7.01

Have you tried the switches listed in KB article 241422? At least some of them work with WMP 9, so they should work with 7.

sigh…you know I swear to god I looked there…I’ll play with those tonight. Thanks Number
