windows XP - freeing up space on system partition

I installed Windows XP (Home) on a 2G partition. I have two other partitions with more space. Almost all programs were installed on the other partitions, as are my Outlook Express files, the page file, the temporary internet files and My Documents. But now I still only have between 200- 300 MB free on the system partition. Having gone through the directories, there isn’t much outside of the Windows directory that takes up much space.

Does anyone have any ideas if and how some of the Windows components like fonts, help files, driver cache, etc can be moved to another partition? They take up an awful lot of space.

Not sure what you can easily or safely remove from the windows directories but you could try using a program called partition magic 7 which will allow you to resize your existing partitions without deleteing any data.

Yeah, or search for ‘partition’ at download.com they have shareware programs or demos of better ones,
I don’t know if I would trust them with my data though.
