Does anyone know if the procedure for a “hard restore” of Windows communications components - for Windows 2000 - is the SAME as for Windows 98 as described at http://support.earthlink.net/mu/1/psc/img/walkthroughs/windows_9x_nt/dialers/dun_1.3/5289.ps.html ???
And, if I do it wrong, what’s the worst that can happen? Will I be able to restart my machine? Everything is backed-up, and I may need to reformat anyhow, so what do i have to lose? I think I have everything to gain and it is worthe the risk…would you agree???
