Ok so I’ve had a wireless network set up between two computers in this house for almost two years. I’ve had my problems, but its been running smoothly for a while. For the record, the equipment is:
1 dell computer running windows ME that is connected directly to the internet sending a wireless signal with a Microsoft MN-500 base station to a dell computer running XP.
So here’s the problem:
It all of the sudden stopped working. The XP computer appears by all means to be connected to the internet, it is sending and receiving packets, and the manager shows it is connected to the internet. But… the internet isnt working. Ive tried IE and AIM and neither work. Before i spend three hours on the phone with tech support, anyone have any idea?
