I have a Family Law test in less than two hours which I’ve barely studied for, so why am I sitting here?
I have a job interview Tuesday and another one on Wednesday.
All good wishes gratefully accepted.

Best of luck with everything, Otto! & I hope you get whichever job you like more.
Is this the traditional nuclear family on which you’re being quizzed? Then you can probably throw them a few curveballs! Good luck.
I would wish you luck but that would only add replies to your post, which you would read instead of studying, which is what would really help you on the test.
So I’m not going to reply.
Doh!
“Cheddar?”
“We don’t get much call for that around here, Sir.”
Sheesh! I can’t even Doh! right today!
I feel like Frank Grimes. (“Grimy, as he liked to be called.”)
Is there any other kind recognized in Wisconsin law? Hardly. The test is going to be on “what is marriage?” and “what is marital property?” (which is something of a trick question in Wisconsin as our marital property law is unique in the nation) and the like. Lucky me, I made it to the class where the prof spent the whole period talking about what can’t be done in WI (“Here’s the definition of common-law marriage, which is not recognized. Here’s the definition of heart-balm action, which are not allowed in WI.” Thank you, but why the hell do I need to know this?) and was out the day she went over marital property.
Lucky for me, there is unlimited extra credit available at 10 points a project, so I’ll be doing about seven projects. Yee-hah!
Good Luck. Now I can leave for you all of the common-law marriage questions (unless, of course, you forget everything you learned immediately upon leaving the test).

Best of luck, oh palindromic one! Go kick some legal ass!
Oh my god, it took me longer to drive to the test than it did to take it. I’m predicting an 85 or better.
Now if only the job interviews are this easy.
Good luck. But, what will you do if you are offered more than one of the jobs? Another decision you will have to make. I’m sure you’ll ace them all.
I’ve learned that if someone says something unkind about me, I must live so that no one will believe it.
Luck, man.
And remember…
how did it start? well i don’t know i just feel the craving. i see the flesh and it smells fresh and it’s just there for the taking…

“Winners never quit and quitters never win, but those who never win and never quit are idiots.”
Take them both, of course.
Otto, good luck on your tests, and on becoming a split personality just to get both those jobs!!
“It’s hard to avoid reading because ever wheres we go, reading is there.”
One job is FT, the other is temporary, with the census. I’m considering making my bothering the neighbors a paying gig for a change.
Good (belated) luck on your test, Otto! Hope you aced it.
