I’m surprised not to see more of this, or teenage bullies doing this to a victim.
From a forensics standpoint, it would be pretty difficult for normal people to make this look believable. The timestamps and system logs would all show that the files were uploaded recently. System tools are needed to change low-level data in order to make it really look like the images were put on the phone long ago when the husband had it in his possession.

From my experience teaching high school, it’s quite common for teenagers to share their phone unlock codes with their friends. Still stupid, of course, but then, teenagers are well known for doing stupid things. I can likewise imagine a teenager stupidly thinking that something like this would be a “funny prank”.
I can see it now. “Teenager pranks classmate with nudes” “When she sent me her nudes I really thought she was coming on to me. Then she texted HAHA JUST MESSING WITH YOU.”

What the heck is “aggravated possession” as opposed to mere “possession”? Isn’t possession binary, like you either have it or you don’t?
Aggravated means additional factors that make it worse when it comes to sentencing. For example in the context of kiddie porn, having more than 100 photos might lead to aggravated possession.
ETA:
OK Stat 21-1040.13 makes possession of child pornography a felony with up to 10 years, up to $10,000, or both.
OK Stat 21-1040.12a defines 100 or more separate materials of child pornography as aggravated possession of child pornography, punishable by up to life imprisonment, up to $10,000, or both. It also requires the convicted person to register as a sex offender.

I would quibble with the title of this thread.
This “wife” was in the process of getting divorced and fighting over child custody. It’s not at all unusual for such wives to also be enemies.
Fingers crossed the wife and the friend both get life.
