Okay now I’m curious. What is not worth resurrecting the thread for?
No books were either included or excluded at the Council of Nicaea. I am not sure where that canard came from, (it was popular with Jack Chick), but the development of the Christian Canon dates as far back as the second century and ends after the Nicene Council. The Council of Nicaea admonishes that Scripture must be accepted, but make no reference to which books are Scripture.
