Has anyone seen this? I’ve been pretty psyched by what I’ve encountered thus far, but unfortunately, it’s had only a very limited release. I’m sure the best I’ll be able to do is catch it on DVD when the time comes, but I’m curious to know if any Dopers have watched it while it was briefly in theaters.
The original is in my Netflix queue, although it looks really cheesy. I can appreciate some good Crispen though, 'tis another reason this should be decent.

Haven’t seen or heard of a remake, but the original stands as one of the absolute worst movies ever made. Right up there with “Plan 9” in its sheer bad-ness. But unfortunatly, not as fun in its awful glory. Moved too slowly.
I tried to make a drinking game* while watching it in college (I had it on tape!) and it was so lame, people wouldn’t even watch it for the free booze.
Stunningly, apallingly bad.
*Drink everytime something was “just plain wrong”
Ah, thanks for the head’s up then. Og knows that if you can’t even encourage people to drink freely over something that bad, then it really is too bad to even mess with. 
I do believe I’m off to remove it from my queue…
