Maybe Howard Dean can get in in 04. And he can try his (we are so sorry, let’s run away) method of dealing with it. Maybe he can propose a peace treaty with the terrorists. Oh I forgot we should die because we won’t bow to Allah. Might be a hard sell.
I think what scares you the most is most americans think like I do. Which is, we have around 3000 dead people in the 911 attack. We have the guns and the money and we are not going to take it from these people. I don’t care what we might have done to them in the past. They are going to stop it or they will die.
Don’t think “scare” is the word. More like terror, shock, horror and dismay.
Try to get this through your head. Pound it in like a nail if you must. There is no evidence…none whatsoever…that ties Iraq to 9/11. This makes about as much sense as if FDR declared war on China for Pearl Harbor.
And keep in mind: Fearless Misleader was perfectly content to let that misperception fester in the public mind for two years before he stated the obvious. Perhaps it is acceptable to you to allow people to believe something that isnt so, when you know it isn’t so, because it is to your advantage. Some of us have rather more strict ideas about “honesty”.
But, as Ms. Rice points out, the President is “not a fact checker.”

Yes, I know 911 does not equal Saddam. Saddam was a whipping boy. The people of the united states know that. President bush thought saddam might and I mean might want to help a group of people with another 911 type attack he had no proof. Saddam was in violation the the UN cease fire so this meant Bush had his whipping boy. The average person in the US knows Saddam was used as a (Hey do you want some of this!) and they think it’s a good idea. This is not talked about but everybody knows it.
Most Americans do not think like you do, thank goodness. But yes, the thought that even a few people think like you is scary. You do great damage to the USA and to the world. When barbarians like you manage to take over a country it sets humanity back a few centuries. Thank goodness there is no danger of that happening in the USA any time soon.
