I got curious tonight, and started surfing some pages. For a random glimpse back home, I did a cursory search for “My Favorite Bar in New York City”, and what, ho! I was discovered unto a woeful tale: the damned place closed. It seems The Village Idiot–once a proud host to a DopeFest–has closed down. :smack:
I don’t know where, I don’t know when it did, but it’s gone. I mean, where else am I going to find a $1.75 Pabst in the middle of Manhattan? Damn. I really liked that place, too. Now where the hell am I gonna find a bar like that when go back home?
