Wondering about the Nuvaring

This sounds like a very convenient method of birth control. Supposedly a woman is not supposed to feel it, and neither is her male partner during sex. But I have a friend at work who used it, and during sex her boyfriend said “what is that? It hurts my dick!!”

So…what’s the scoop ladies? And guys, for that matter.

I’d like to add a question - does anyone know if the Nuvaring is available in the UK? When my wife asked her GP about it, she hadn’t heard of it…
