And her next husband–Soon-Yi’s adoptive father–was Andre Previn. In response, Dory Previn (the dumped ex) wrote “Beware of Young Girls”.

So you’re ok with adoption as long as someone with the money and love to give doesn’t adopt too many. So I’ll ask you too, what is your cutoff number for a person to adopt to make them not weirder than someone who has an affair with his paramour’s adopted daughter? And what would you tell the people who were adopted after that magical number? “You would have been better off at the orphanage, unloved and alone, because by adopting you, your mother was weird”?

Have we? I don’t remember. With the exception of a couple of conservatives, I never remember who I’ve tangled with or why. It’s gone from my mind as soon as the thread dies.

That’s not true at all. Before now, if I thought of you, I would have thought “that guy likes Happy Rhodes, what a cool guy!” and nothing else.

I said I wasn’t going to pit you. It’s not my fight. Obviously if someone who was adopted or who adopted had the same problems I had, they would have pitted you already. Since no one has, I can just assume that I’m alone in this, and I accept that.

I"m not sure what that’s supposed to mean.
