I’m finally getting a Sherline Lathe and Mill. I’ve wanted machine tools for years and now I’m finally getting them!
I’ll use them to make detail parts for my static display model cars and airplanes (mainly '30s coachbuilt cars, '50s customs, and WWII German a/c). After some practice, I want to make small piston engines for r/c planes. The thought of turning raw materials into a working engine just fascinates me.
