… and I got a season pass this year. Keystone is offically open(okay so 4% of the terrain isn’t that impressive, but its the principal of the thing). Every body who has snow they don’t want can go ahead and send it to Colorado, and anybody caught having evil anti-snow thoughts will be severly punished.
Provided it’s only in the mountains. We have too many dumb ass drivers on the Front Range that can’t hardly drive when the streets are dry!
So are you going to see the new Warren Miller flick? I think it’s called “Ride” this year. I usually go every year, even though I’m not a big skier/boarder. I hope to get two or three snowboarding sessions in this year.
Please oh please let there be plenty of snow by Thanksgiving! I’m going out to visit my brothers and I’d really love to get some skiing in while I’m there!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…
I’m not one to put down anybody’s hobbies, but I really don’t understand the appeal of skiing.
No, I haven’t really tried it, just some cross-country stuff, which I didn’t like too much. Maybe it’s because I know that I would likely hurt myself. There’s a few things in life that I have accepted that I am not good at. Included on this list is all types of skating and skiing.
However, on the other hand, I do enjoy a good session of sledding, especially is jumps are involved. Hmmmm… okay, I take back the not understanding the appeal bit.
And you will never hear any anti-snow remarks from me. Bring it on!!!
Lucky dog! We haven’t started getting any snow out here yet. I will be attempting my second season as a snowboarder, having failed to break any limbs or otherwise injure myself last year.
Killington has been open for about a week, not much and badly orginized. (you have to take a chair or gondola to a ‘bus’ to a chair that you can ski off of.)
