Thought I had it in 2 tries with four green tiles turning over. Another tease. From there I could only see two choices, so I had a 50/50 chance of getting it in 3. I went with my first instinct, and unfortunately it did not pay off, so 4 tries it is.
Thr same last three guesses as me, but i had an extra one at the start. Took me five, coukd have had it in three.

A comment on showing pictures but blurring out the letters.
On today’s I had four yellows. There were six possible words (I didn’t know that at the time).
Several people have three picks with the first four tiles green, and the final one is all green.
If I had seen that picture it would basically eliminate three of the words. For those there aren’t three words that have the same first four letters.

I was fortunate to get the Y in place and avoid the STOR_ trap. All in all, I’ll take it.
I guess, I dunno. I’ve trained myself to be careful about looking at the puzzle number first, and if I see tomorrow’s number I can sort of ignore the squares, more so than ignoring words. Just how my brain works, I suppose.
Anyway, I obviously have no problem with people posting according to their own time zones; that’s not something you can control. I usually avoid this thread after noon, and I guess I got a little irked at seeing discussion about the next puzzle at 7:30am my time. Forgive me if I overreacted. (FWIW, it didn’t seem to have affected my experience solving today’s.)
