Well, dang. An extremely lucky first guess gave me three letters in correct position. I took my time going through the alphabet (more than once!) and came up with three possibilities: QUEER, RULER, and SUPER.
Other possible five-letter words that would fit seemed to be too obscure for Wordle, to have already been answers, or to be from a class (comparatives) that Wordle seldom–as noted in posts above–resorts to.
So of course it did turn out to be a comparative, turning my likely 2 into a less-satisfying 3.

Having eliminated obvious consonant pairs, I figured it was likely either an “AI” word or an “AU” word. I tried the latter first.
Congratulations! I’m surprised they give people back their 100% (via rounding)—I’d have guessed they’d decline to do that. (I have an impression of the creator and also of those running the game now as “sticklers”–perhaps that’s unfair.)
Of course a mere loss of one game out of 200 should be recognized, and I applaud them giving that recognition.
