I waffled on going for the three or using a test word. I was down to STIFF, STICK, STING, and STINK. Realized afterward that STINK would have assured a four and been a possible answer, so that would have been a better choice. But I ended up with the same result. No harm, no foul.
Also a 4. Just another Wordle day.

Like Rufus I started with SLANT, but then went with WEIGH to check out two vowels. At that point it was a probable “_OUGH” trap–I tried COUGH, confirming the _OUGH. But I was now left with BOUGH, DOUGH, and ROUGH as options. Should have gone alphabetical! (but used a test word instead as a 6 loomed.)
A 5 isn’t that much better, but at least this went quickly.
Almost forgot. And it’s yet another word that has multiple possible letters when you’ve got the other 4 locked.
