Weird. I got only one letter in the wrong place on my first guess. Then wanted to try the other two most common vowels and “N”. And completely randomly solved it on the second guess. There must be thousands of common words that were possible there, but I wonder if a lot of people will also do well on this one because it contains 4 common letters that people will want to try.

Grep tells me that number is more like 400. 
Picking a word from EATOIN SHRDLU as your first guess is really the way to go no matter what results you get.

Evil Wordle - Has no correct word, but a word list. The lettres in your guesses are rejected in a manner which allows the puzzle to keep the largest amount of remaining words on the list. This maximizes the amount of guesses it takes to find the final possible word. My shortest win was 7 guesses.
Isn’t this how Absurdle also works?

:Looks very similar, but don’t see a claim that they directly lifted the Wordle solution and acceptable guess lists like Absurdle did. If Evil Wordle’s acceptable guess list is the same as its solution list, that probably makes their game a lot harder than Absurdle.
