I thought this one might give people more trouble than it did. Looks like fours are the order of the day (Sorry, Morgyn).
The placement of the I and E would seem to bring up myriad options. But then again, a good lot of them end with R, which most of us got out of the way early.

This was the weirdest thing. All my logical senses were telling me to try something ending with TH or TY, use a common letter like N or D, but this little voice kept whispering to try WALTZ. Freaky.

Made it to the third step, then spent 15 minutes staring at the screen trying to think of a word with “ALT” in the middle and no other vowels.

I’m legitimately stuck on 498. I can’t find any word that fits the feedback I have. After getting stumped last night I slept on it, and now this morning I’m more stuck than ever. I started typing letter combination possibilities into Google, and did come up with balut, which I’ve never heard of before but is apparently a thing so I tried that with my 4th guess. No joy.
In disgust I went to an anagram solver and put in all the possibilities as I saw them. Not one single word matches my feedback.
I only have two guesses left, and not a single clue as to what the word could possibly be. And the third tier consonants I’m left with don’t easily form words with each other for me to check; at best I could maybe check three consonants out of the eight or so remaining, but I would be literally choosing those three at random, and that would be my 5th guess.
Currently at a bit of a loss, and for the first time in my wordle career I’m feeling the clock ticking.
Fingers crossed!
(Not helping my ego that everyone else seems to have gotten it without a problem.)
ETA: I think I might be able to cobble together those colored squares so I can show what feedback I have. Lemme try…
