TORSO
Had to run through the keyboard with T in both positions twice before I saw TORSO. It was my only choice, but still tough to get. Nice mental workout.
Yes, let’s carry on with the 3s!

TORSO
Quick one today, the coffee’s still hot. WordleBot says I’m smarter than I look. (Not really.)
Wordle 532 3/6
Happy to oblige with another 3.
I’d have been happy with a 4, but a 3 even more so.
HEART
TRICK
TORSO
Wordle 532 3/6
Very lucky guess with the second word.
CRANE
STORM
TORSO
CHAFE → Clean miss. Try two more vowels and common consonants
PRION → Not bad. Another vowel, and S & T?
ROUST → I don’t need U. R must go in middle, so T at start, TORS- means
TORSO
If I had gone with RO(I/U)ST instead of PRION for the second guess, I might have gotten it in 3.

TORSO
My usual-rotation starter gave me three letters, and guessing a ‘start with the T’ word for choice 2 gave me the solution. (Was there any other word that could have fit after choice 2?)
The only other word I can see that would fit is torts, but as a plural ending in s that would only be a valid guess, not a valid solution.

CLOPS
THORN
ADORE
Couple departures from my usual strategy here: I used a rare H in my second word (normally trying for clamp store) and also didn’t check even a second vowel, much less a third. Both were because neither of my normal follow-ups in this situation (trope, metro) followed hard mode rules.
Neither change seemed to particularly help or hurt me this time, though it felt a little unnerving having only checked a single vowel.

ADORE => I only saw one other possibility, and that’s AMORE.
From yesterday:
My dead-trees dictionary had torsi as an alternative plural of the solution, but that’s got to be way too obscure to be a solution. So effectively no.

TRONE
CHORE
ADORE
I didn’t think TRONE was actually a word (it’s a type of scale, apparently), but I wanted to get T, R, and N. I’ll have to remember that one for future use.
Had a shot at a 3 if I’d done my usual vowel check, but I’m OK with the par here.
