Luck didn’t go my way on this one, though I knew there were limited choices and no danger of a fail.
Once I got the O, the only possibility that didn’t begin with W was COVEN. Therefore WOVEN was the logical next guess. After that, I lost the coin flip on the two remaining words. Some days are like that.

This one took a lot of time and I still enjoyed a lot of luck. Finding the ‘K’ on the second try helped immensely, as was discovering the ‘E’ couldn’t be placed in the third or last position – though WordleBot wasn’t impressed. After that, it was a slog. I couldn’t find a single word that worked until I happened upon ‘WOKE’ – and then the ‘N’ smiled at me. Still, I didn’t expect it to be the word, just one for testing letter placement.

ADORE → Not a bad start word, and it makes a good start here. Try more common consonants…
STENO → Picked up an N. Try vowels in common sports inside a two-syllable word…
COVEN → Hit! It’s a little traplike, but there aren’t many consonants left. Two possibilities with W-, so…
WOMEN → Guessed the wrong one.

I think Wheelz and I had very similar plays today.
Given that the NYT is now making explicit that their policy is ‘no plurals as solutions,’ I think they might face an armed uprising if they tried to slip in an ‘ends-in-i’ plural-form.

Four O’s in the last three days. I find that annoying. Only 4 O’s in November (two were in one word), and now they slam us with them. Guess I should have known better and played it on my 3rd word at least, but I just was feeling Queen - it ruled out several words though, so that was good. Then I was choosing between the T and W and I just chose wrong.
