A past tense word! I know there haven’t been any words ending in ED, but I ignored all of the past tense words I came up with (dealt, meant, leant and leapt). I went with a sleuth word at 2, which I haven’t done that early before, as I wanted to check for the _EAST trap (and Meaty). The result left Exalt as the only possibility, not including the past tense words I had. Nope…it is one of those. So 4 it is for today. And now we know some past tense words can be used.
Carrying on with my elegant streak of 4s. I see I’m in good company today.

I assume the same applies to plurals - WOMEN and GEESE are fair game in my mind.
