I actually considered HORSE at two, but I can’t be too mad about that; it’s not like it was obvious. A good 3, I’ll take it.
Weirdly, Scordle said my best guess at two was HORSE, but my best guess at three was WORSE.
For a lot of reasons, it’s a nice day to get a 3.

I had also found WORSE (and also NORSE, but I was pretty sure that wasn’t it!). I prefer HORSEs to WORSE, so I tried that first. Worked out!
Not to mention:

And I didn’t even bother to check for HORSE or WORSE this morning… luckier than I realized.
