@Newtosite used a different site for that - in their post it says they used http://hellowordl.net/ , instead of the more broadly known Wordle site.
Yes, I was on the hellowordl site on their “Today’s” page. It’s not a biggie I was just curious.

Eliminating 3 vowels and 4 common consonants in the first two words helped a lot. If I had tried PERIL as my third guess, it might have pushed me down to 5/6.

I fell into the “use a word unlikely to be the answer but which is nonetheless a word” trap today. On my fourth guess I’d narrowed it down a bit but guessed PERVY because I didn’t run through the entire alphabet looking for a better word and that was where my mind went. Got it on my fifth guess, though.

I got frustrated with the game and didn’t play for a couple of days, but I’m back.

ADIEU-- my standard starting word eliminates most of the vowels from the equation but indicates to me that there’s an E out of place.
GROUP-- no O, either, but there’s an R and P.
REPEL-- found the right place for the E, and realized there’s only one. I struggled hard before coming up with this word.
PERCH-- the PER are all in the right place. Now I know that C and H aren’t in the puzzle.
PERKS-- got the K. The only other thing it can be is:

This is the most interesting variation on Wordle I’ve seen. There are two words to guess but you can only enter one word at a time which it tests against both words. You need to think about your tactics.
