Wordle 635 3/6*
SLATE
CREDO
CIDER
My 2nd guess of CREDO was lucky, eliminating all but 2 words
Agree with @RTFirefly that somehow this one shouldn’t be a streak-killer, but WordleBot says that the NYT average (in hard mode) is 4.3

PLANT

MEALY
I wasn’t in love with mealy as my third word, but not in the sense that I objected to it being on the answer list. More that I am overly drawn to M, and that I should keep looking. But darn if I could find anything else so I just went with it.

Had that same result from my starting word the other day with EMAIL, and I still had my scribbles from then, which helped. Scoredle said there were 3 words left after my second guess, but the solution was really the only one (though it took me a good while to be sure of that), the other two besides the solution were bullshit words.
got lucky today

According to Wordlebot, mealy was the only word remaining. Not a word I use that often, except when eating bad apples or watermelon, but it came to me immediately. That puzzle took a minute or so.

I’ve used Mealy for a start word a few times, and it was on my mind since guess #2, but I just didn’t play it for whatever reason…darn it. So an average 4 it is for today.

CIDER → Well, that’s something. Move the E over and try something else…
SHEOL → Still haven’t tried a T, but I can’t find a word with a good fit for it. Let’s try LEA-- for starters…
LEAFY → Lucky hit with the Y. Usually I want to try N or M by now, so it fits well to go…

Scoredle says VEALY is a word. I say Scoredle is full of it.
My luck ran out. Although not entirely, at least.
