I wasn’t real happy with RESOD, but for the life of me it was the only word I could find.
Of Scoredle’s list of 44 words at that point, RESOD and CREDO were the only two that weren’t plural or nonsense. So I was close to a three, but just couldn’t see the right order until four. Sometimes that’s just how it goes.
Happy with a 3 today.

WordleBot seemed a little grudging with its praise.
Today was the 34th consecutive day that I’ve used SLART as my starting word. Time for an evaluation, spoilered so as not to bore everyone with it. TL;DR thumbs down on SLART.
Result - Frequency
2 - 3 times
3 - 14 times
4 - 9 times
5 - 8 times
For an average of 3.65 guesses per game. By comparison, in the 150 games between PARER and my switch from SLANT to SLART as my starting word, I averaged 3.55.
That’s not a huge difference, could be just chance and still learning how best to follow up SLART.
But those eight 5’s in just over a month really got under my skin. In the preceding 150 games with SLANT, I only got eight 5’s and two 6’s the whole time, so only ten worse-than-4 outcomes in 150 games versus eight such outcomes in 34 games. A 5 once in a while is one thing, getting them all the frickin’ time is another. I’m switching back to SLANT.

I’ll do the same with hiding my comment in case no one is interested in guess count stats talk.
Interesting results. Curious how many of those 5 guess games did the words have a low-use letter in them? We got a slew of low-use letters for a while recently, and unless you play them early, it can result in a 4-6 guess game. At least for me it does, unless I throw caution to the wind and I get lucky, which I do now and again (like with playing Squat for my 2nd guess and getting it in 2). But with Above, Toxic, and Revel, it took me 5 guesses to get those.
I lucked out today by starting with an anagram of the actual word, by total chance

WordleBot seemed very grudging with praise, just a 74 for skill and 83 for luck. I feel very lucky, looked for a 2nd guess word with common letters and a vowel not used in my 1st guess. And to my surprise, that was it!
