First time playing for me today, although I’m familiar with Lingo and did pretty well on 538 Riddler’s version of the game where you guess your first four words (out of 5) with no feedback.

Well the new one was interesting. For the first time, I got no letters at all on the first guess. Then only two letters on the second guess, one in the correct position. But that turned out to be so restrictive that I could only think of one possible word that fit, and got it on the third guess.

Much the same thing happened to me today, and I even chose words with the same letters you did on my first 2 attempts… but I didn’t get as lucky matching a position like you did on try #2 so it took me 4 tries.

Took me five tries, the first time I’ve had to go past 3.
4 tries again (darn it). Like many of you, I had no letters after 1 guess and only 1 letter (wrong pos) after 2nd guess. Third guess gave me 3 (all in wrong position - and I reused my letter from 2), but those three were distinct enough to give me the final word.
