So mad at myself. I saw a lover first, but then kept looking and felt lower was much more likely to be the answer. I know better than that. Always stick with the first thing I see! (Only because I get much more mad when I second guess myself and get it wrong as opposed to being wrong with the first thing I see.)
The last thing I expected today was a 3. Very lucky!

LOSER → Single-letter trap. LOPER is probably not it. LOXER probably doesn’t exist outside of an NY deli

Going for LIVER on 3rd guess would have helped, but if I had tried LITER it might have been fatal, since one of my 4th-guess options was actually still out there, according to Scoredle.
