Really happy with this three. I spotted the S_O_E trap right away, and worked hard to find a good sleuth word. PRINT narrowed it down to just SCOPE and SPOKE, and I won the coin flip!

TAWNY → Whiff. R, S, L and four vowels are out there, I’ll try
ROLES → Good letter selection, though I need to go for some consonants now. C & H are up there on frequency, so I’ll choose
CHOSE → -OCE ending not great, so SCO?E with R & L gone gives us
SCOPE

Scoredle would have finished with its third guess rather than mine. I still think C&H is a better letter pair than C&P.

My fastest was easily Wordle #307. The solution was PLANT, and I was already using SLANT as my starting word by then. The only way I’m going to solve it any faster is when SLANT is the solution.
