Happy with a 4, could’ve been a 5.

Dammit. This shouldn’t have been as hard as it was. I didn’t like LOGON, but for the life of me I could not see anything else. (I also missed COLON, as it turns out,)
Not my best effort, but it’s my first five (or higher) in 21 days, so I had a pretty good run there.

YOUNG → Not bad, and with half of vowels gone I can afford to try two comcons with another vowel.
SONAR → Good hit on the A. N first or last? And I’d like to get L and/or T in there. Probably wanted to do so a bit too much, since I found
NODAL → from which I immediately saw
WOMAN

So I saved par. With three letters known and only two spaces for one of them, I probably should have looked a little harder for the birdie.

WordleBot advised there were 3 possibilities after CLOAK: WOMAN, NOMAD and GONAD. I might have tried NOMAD before WOMAN if I’d seen it, but not GONAD. Good to know that’s a possible.

You did!

RATIO
LUNES
SLEEP

I changed out my second word ( with a first word strikeout I usually go for DUNES or NUDES to get the vowels) to try a better letter and it definitely paid off. If I am doing a two word start for Quordle or Octordle, I will sometimes change out RATIO/DUNES for RADIO/TUNES. I know it’s the exact same letters but it makes me feel I am trying something new and I like the thematic consistency.
