RENAL → No vowels yet. Think I need to try them both, and an S would be good too - but SNIRY or SYRIN aren’t words. Vowels are higher priority right now, so it’s time to trust the B

Didn’t even see the trap, I was so obsessed by vowels. Scoredle’s strategry is similar, except it tries an S on its second guess and then finds the answer. A 3 is nice.
