This should have been a 4, but I liked USURY so much as a guess that I failed to notice one of the Us was in a repeated spot. I wish hard mode would prevent that.
Also, Wordlebot said my first two tries were incredibly unlucky.
By the way, for those complaining about SULKY being an adjective (what’s wrong with adjectives?) it’s also a noun. Maybe it’s because I have kids, but I don’t find SULKY to be even slightly obscure. 
Yep, a noun too, when I hear the word sulky I think of Standardbred harness racing.

Got lucky on this one. Saw VOWEL and YODEL and chose the solution over them, but there were also MODEL, DOWEL, BOWEL, GOLEM, and YOKEL which I didn’t see. Some of them are iffy as solutions, but far from all of them. So it was a lucky 3.

Finally broke my five streak with a lucky birdie.
Scoredle says I had 121 possible words, though most are either very obscure or past tense -ED words. (I know some solutions have been past tense, but, like -S plurals, I don’t think Wordle uses ones formed with -ED.)
Still, other than those I counted a little over 20 good words, so yeah, I was lucky. For a change.
