STEAM → Smal scale start. Would like to try R, N & L along with an O, but I’m not seeing it. I’ll keep the O and try another consonants

GLAND → That wasn’t it. DAN??, might need a Y here.
DANCY → Why didn’t I see CANDY? On the plus side, I eliminated DANDY, which makes the rest of this a lot less risky than otherwise.

BANDY was still out there along with some bogus words. Scoredle makes a great play with a vowel hunt on 2, hits the trap at 3 and then gets a 1 in 3 guess to make par.

THEIR → Not bad, but still vowel-deficient. I’ll try an O… and I see one that requires repeating the T, which isn’t too bad here, so
