A bad choice early on turned a potential three into a five. Scoredle made that birdie, but with a very lucky guess - I count at least 20 possibles from its word list after its second guess.

I forgot to play yesterday! I guess Tuesday’s trauma was still too fresh. Nothing lost because my streak was over anyway. Just a little bummed that I missed out on a relatively easy word.
Today was a bit of a mess, but I have a one-day streak. Yay!

Given today’s trend, I guess I don’t feel to badly about this. But a third trap in a week is annoying.

GRANT → Slow start. Need to check S & L. Might usually try an E here, but I think I’ll try the Scoredle trick and try to place the A, so
SALAD → My usual pattern would have been GALES or FALSE here. But now with S, R & D gone, it’s hard to try an E in 4th. I do see one possiblility that leads to a 3-trap, but I’ll go for it
CALVE → So, H or V? Flip a mental coin and get

Once I saw VALVE, I figured I had to try one of the other trap words in case I got it badly wrong. There were about three other words it could have been per Scoredle (which finishes in four as well) so I was probably safe after my third guess. Crossing my fingers for DELVE tomorrow!

I’d just like to say at the outset that I’m content with this double bogey, wordlebot can fuck right off with its “Phew!,'” and a single data point is NOT eligible to be characterized as a “streak” (i.e., there’s no such thing as a “one-day” streak.
