"Wordle," a strangely compelling word game (Part 3)

ALARM → Slow start. Would like to try a couple of vowels and a couple more WoFcons, and saw one word early that did that
LIENS → Next letter to try is O. Would like to try a T, but can’t fit one in with
DOILY → Placed O is nice. If I & L change places, it certainly evokes
FOLIO

Scordle works hard to place the L with its second guess, but ends up with a bogey when it makes no progress with its third guess. There were three nonbogus answers left for my last guess, but worst-case I would have had it with one more guess.

An easy 3. Scoredle said there were two possibilities after 2, the other one being SHCHI. I’m not sure what language that’s a word in, but I’m awfully sure it isn’t English.

Scoredle, which always starts with SLATE (nothing wrong with that), had the sequence SLATE > SCION > SUCKY > SHUCK. Gotta admit I was amused by the inclusion of SUCKY.

TEARS → Not much better. Need an N and a U to go with that S, and that makes me think
SNUCK → Oh, darn, wasn’t the N

My WoFcon obsession giveth, and taketh away, sometimes on the same guess. Scordle’s second guess is an anagram of mine, and the third guess is very different (tries to place the S) but it gives it the same result as mine - only the answer was left as a valid guess.
