three with my next one but resorted to
STONE → Which was something. Now do I try Y or a second E? About 50/50 either way, I figure and I have a good second E word with
TREED → But now I’ve pretty much got to try a Y, so double the E to find it and I’ll try

PETTY → A useful start, with that less-common consonant. So I started to try A & O with an assortment of WoFcons and I struck gold with
PORAL → which I guess has something to do with pores, but that RA sequence looks really good up against the P and I filled in some more from there
PRANK
PRAWN was another possibility, but I think we’ve already had it. Scoredle goes on some odd walkabout through two guesses I’ve never seen before, but still finishes with a par.
