Question: To date I’ve not seen any doubled letter in the secret word. Is that generally the case?
They happen often enough, but it would be easy for a small sample like yours to not find any. The most recent doubled letter, not including today obviously, was in Wordle 1533, ELATE. From Wordle 1517 to 1525, we had several: KNELL, LEVEL, MATTE, ISSUE, LLAMA, and RATTY all appeared in that 9-day stretch.

Bit of a stroke of luck to get that birdie. Scoredle also hits the birdie, picking the right one out of four nonbogus possibles after two. Indeed, Scoredle’s own start gives it a two!
