Could’ve also been (Wordle #566) BELIE, though it’s way outside what I think of as the Zone of Reusability (1-~300). Speaking of which, it’s been two and a half months since CIGAR (Wordles #0 and #1689) on Groundhog Day, and they’ve only re-used a half-dozen more old solutions in all that time. I keep wondering, why’d they bother?

LABEL would be a great word for tomorrow, no? Today’s was a steady progression from left across to right, after the carryover guess. Despite being bogus, my third guess scored a respectable 9/22 from Scoredle, though it did represent a significant speed bump compared to the progress Scoredle would have made. Scoredle’s second guess looks worse than mine (77 remaining vs. 22) but sets up a third guess that in the event leads to a tap-in par.
