Poorly played (followup was 10/11, last valid of eight valids) but turned out OK, and just missed that eagle! Scoredle’s followup eliminates a bunch of valids that I had passed over, and subsequently (not doing the ridiculous miss I made with my followup) makes a 1-in-2 birdie putt.

STAND → Slow, and potentially dangerous start. E and a couple WoFcons and another letter, we’ll try
GLARE → One heckuva trap here. I feel compelled to try one that might be better left for later, so
QUAKE → Lotta consonants still left. I’ll load up on them for my next guess
CHAFE → Perhaps there’s a second A?
AMAZE → One guess left. A second E? Not many consonants left… I see two I can try

That was close. Although there was only one word left, per Scoredle, on that last guess, so it was literally impossible for me to lose in the event. Scoredle’s sequence gets one green per guess, until it gets the answer with a tap-in bogey.
