This is my second legitimate “got it in one”. My stats actually show 5, but the others were glitches where I had played that day but it didn’t save for some reason, and since I knew the answer when I went back in I entered it as my first guess.

Very poorly played. On three I was going for letters. Guess four was not terrible because it was hunting for another vowel and it got the P but five was a flat out mistake and I should have stopped and thought it through. I don’t know if I got lucky or the answer was the only word left but I barely made it.

After 2, the solution was the only word I could think of, so I just went with it. Retrospectively, courtesy of Scoredle, it could’ve also been DEUCE; JUICE had been used. But those were the only other possibilities after 2.
