I can’t remember any final from 1966 on in rainy weather, but at least the 1954 final in Bern was played during pouring rain, the famous Fritz-Walter-Wetter (Fritz Walter weather).
Not sure why anyone thinks the second French goal was a “gift”. Clear example of deliberate handling. Unless we include as a “gift” anytime the opposition’s play is so poor that you score from it. Often, that’s a result of being pressured.
