A friend found this on the internet and I can’t stop watching it. Simply brilliant
Brilliant.
It certainly benefits from brevity. So many of these things go on and on (and if all you have is a piece of music and a dancing whatever, one minute is on and on).
I weep.
I love how obvious it is that his professor let him down. I’ve been reading more about it and apparently he used everything the professor had taught him in the class. When they showed their final project, he was easily the best in the class and it earned him an A. I also love how he openly mocked his professor in his closing still.
“Thanks for Nothing”
Ah, so this is more about someone figuring out Maya or some other 3D modeling and animation app on their own, despite being in a class, where they’re paying someone to teach them.
Because the clip itself is pretty bad.
Sometimes, being self-taught is the way to go. Don’t waste your money on art college, kids!
Although, out of sheer spite, the student made it a work of genius.
Meh. I give it a C.
PS. Everyone knows that you don’t go to animation school to learn how to animate… you go to animation school so you can make friends with other future animators, who will later go on to be invaluable in getting you work.
The music makes this. The bear could be a chipmunk or an eggbeater or a pair of dancing bedroom slippers and it would be entertaining.
Somehow this didn’t work very well for me.
