Check out Wowhead’s article on unlocking Draenor Pathfinder. There’s an item that you can buy on the AH that gives you something like 1000 rep per Tanaan faction on turn-in, for ALL of the Tanaan factions simultaneously. I don’t remember the name of it offhand, but I do remember the pain of trying to grind that rep until I found out about the item. And it’s not THAT expensive on the AH, per individual item.

The one thing i did do back in WoD was the all the quests for the three main Alliance reps, but i never stepped foot in Tanaan Jungle until this week, so that was the most daunting part of the grind for me.

Yep, and there is a fairly decent number on the AH if you play anywhere that’s not empty. I used a couple to get the last little bit, and they were only a few thousand gold IIRC, and worth every single copper.

Medallion of the Legion

I just looked in the AH on one of my Boulderfist toons and there’s about 30 or so of them on that server, between 3000 and 10000 gold each.

Thanks guys. i did indeed unlock Draenor flying this weekend mostly on the back of Medallions of the Legion and the Darkmoon Faire reputation buff (and level 3 trading post). I might also try to get my shipyard to level 3 for a chance at an heirloom ring, but ugh, what a boring grind.

For the record I loved Legion and i’m really enjoying BFA, but i find so much about Warlords of Draenor unpleasant haha. Maybe being able to fly around will improve that however, constantly getting caught on things in the world is just maddening and seems so much more prevalent in Draenor than anywhere else.

Yup, got mine too.

Within the last few weeks, I earned Exalted reputation with Rustbolt Resistance and The Unshackled, and am now Exalted with all BFA factions. I’m now working on achievements, JC/Eng leveling, toys/mounts, and paragon rewards. Ilvl’s up to 412.

I intended to finish the “How It Really Happened” event quest last month, but ran into an issue with the Cata part where I would get teleported to the entrance of Firelands during the Ragnaros fight. I’ve read this is due to using Killing Spree (I’m Outlaw spec) during the fight, and I just need to lay off it during this part. It was such a slog getting through the Cho’gall and Nefarian parts, though, and it’s been hard psyching myself up to queue up again. I dislike group raiding. But I want to finish it, so I’ll do it soon.

I still have a huge backlog of previous expansion stuff I want to do. Like, I still am a few raids away from Exalted with Hydraxion Waterlords. I still have to farm Exalted rep with Steamwheedle Cartel. I’ll do it now and take advantage of the anniversary and Darkmoon Faire rep boosts.

I dropped some $$ on Black Friday and got another SSD and more RAM. Haven’t installed them yet, but I will when I have some time.
