Gnomerigan.

My Pally Elf is in Gnomerigan and his name is Schtarker. The correct spelling “Starker” wasn’t available.

We’re just getting started, but at least it’s letting me explore some other races/factions (is that right?) and seing what their abilities are as compared to my warriors’.

Q

I gain about 25% HP and thousands of armor points by going from cat to bear. I didn’t think DK changed THAT much by changing aspects.

No I’m saying that only paladins roll for caster plate. Warriors and DKs have very little need for it.

Is there a way to set that thing to where only my friends and guild members appear?

I really don’t need to see children bickering with each other/calling each other names.

I know certain “channels” need to be there, so one knows when one crosses into another territory, but those things I mentioned are really all I want to see.

Thanks

Quasi

Should I just find him and charge him and hope for the best?

I’m getting triple-quadruple teamed by some 44’s just on the beach. Seems like I would need to get rid of them first, right?

Thanks

Q

:smack: That makes perfect sense.

  1. Can “import” my own music to hear while I’m questing?

Tonight it was raining in Goldshire and as Wolkie and Silka were riding through, I was thinking how appropriate “Riders on The Storm” or Randy Newman’s “Rider in The Rain” would be.

If the answer is yes, how does one go about it?

I KNOW you must be asking yourselves what we’re doing in Goldshire, right?

At 44?

I just wanted to group with some lower level players and help them with their quests.

I figured I would just tell them to let Wolkie do it, and them loot.

I KNOW someone said something about that before in this thread, that I shouldn’t, but so many people helped ME - why can’t I pay it forward, if I ask if they need help?

  1. Also, how come I can’t get more First Aid points? I HAVE all kinds of linen bandages.

Thanks

Quasi

After a certain point, you stop getting skill points from making linen bandages (well, all types of bandages, really). If you look at your tradeskill window while you’re making things, you’ll see the highlighting go from orange to yellow to green to grey as the object you’re making gets “passed up” by your tradeskill level. At that point, you want to go to the trainer again and get the next level of bandages/anti-venom that you’re eligible for at the new tradeskill level.

You can sit there and make linen bandages all night at this point, but you’re not going to get another skill point from them.

You can’t import your own that I know of, but you CAN disable the music, and listen to your own in the background with the music player of your choice. The setting for that should be in the Sounds menu.

Hi Quasi

jayjay has touched on this but let me add some detail. As your First Aid skill gets better you can make better bandages (that will heal you for more XP) if you learn them from a First Aid trainer.

If you currently only have linen bandages you should go back to the trainer and learn ‘Heavy Linen Bandage’ and make enough of those to get your skill up to 75. What speeds this process up is if you have all the cloth you need on you when you visit the trainer then you can just stand there, learn a new bandage, create those bandages until you reach the next skill level, learn the next one and so on.

To get to a skill of 300 here are the levels and what you have to learn and what mats are required to make the bandages.

**Apprentice Levels (1-75) **
Learn Apprentice First Aid from a First Aid trainer
Learn Linen Bandage from a First Aid trainer
Level 1-40: Make Linen Bandage (uses 1 x Linen Cloth)
Learn Heavy Linen Bandage from a First Aid trainer
Level 41-75: Make Heavy Linen Bandage (uses 2 x Linen Cloth)
**Journeyman Levels (76-150) **

Learn Wool Bandage from a First Aid trainer
Level 81-115: Make Wool Bandage (uses 1 x Wool Cloth)

Level 116-150: Make Heavy Wool Bandage (uses 2 x Wool Cloth)
**Expert Levels (151-225 ) **

Level 151-180: Make Silk Bandage (uses 1 x Silk Cloth)
Learn Heavy Silk Bandage from a First Aid trainer
Level 181-210: Make Heavy Silk Bandage (uses 2 x Silk Cloth)

What level is she and what spec are you levelling? I suffered from this early on but now I can safely take on 2-3 mobs of the same level and finish up with enough mana and health to carry on without stopping for a drink.

I <3 my voidy. The felthingee is nice too, but I <3 my voidy best!

Being a hunter or a warlock is like being your own party, although the conversation sucks. When you solo, your pet acts as a tank (unless you like soloing with the imp out, but if you enjoy being beaten up just make a tank) while you DPS and make sure the stupid thing doesn’t die.

(No, I do NOT suffer from altitis - my guildies do suffer from my altitis occasionally, though)

It looks like a lot, but it’s actually pretty easy…the hard part is getting enough of the right cloth.

Just be glad you don’t have to do “Triage” anymore, Quasi…that was like Hell Quest.

It’s Wednesday, which means the weekly Burning Dog Legion alt instance run. After running Sunken Temple the last two weeks, tonight we’re going to make our fist foray into Blackrock Depths. If you have an appropriate-level toon on Cairne, please join us by 8:45 server time to run with us.

We’re going to try to accomplish the following quests:
Disharmony of Flame
Disharmony of Fire
Commander Gor’Shak
KILL ON SIGHT: Dark Iron Dwarves
Dark Iron Legacy
Heart of the Mountain

We have to complete the first quest just outside the instance to pick up the next two at Kargath. “Dark Iron Legacy” will require us to be in ghost form to get, which probably means swimming in the lava.

We will be attempting to get through the Detention Block (High Interrogator Gerstahn), the Ring of Law, the Relic Vault, Fineous Darkvire, Incendius, and Ironfel. We may not have time to get that far however, since our tank (me) has never done BRD before.

I might have to miss this one. Getting married this weekend, and there are a lot of chores that need doing yet.

Heh I felt the same until recently but I have had a minor conversion caused by, well, I don’t know what. I’m a Warlock dammit these fiends aren’t my pets or friends they’re my minions to be used and discarded at will. I now laugh as I sacrifice my Voidwalker to oblivion on the Battleground, mwahahahahahaha!

Gratz!

Well maybe, have you discussed how much WoW time you’re allowed yet???

Wow! Congratulations!

Now just get her her own account and a toon on Cairne…

Well, she thinks WoW is kind of silly and is amazed I’m not bored with it by now, so not terribly likely. (Besides which we only have the one computer that can kinda-sorta run it, and even my laptop gets like 1 fps if I go to Dalaran).
