In Romanian, it is “Al doilea razboi mondial”, and it means exactly “The second world war”.
When Romania attacked Russia to recover the lost territory of what is now Republic of Moldova, that campaign was named “Razboiul de reintregire a Patriei”, meaning “The war for the Fatherland`s reunification”.
