That was my first thought, as well. All of the ritual worship without any real belief in the supernatural. Then again, that may well describe a large portion of traditional church (mosque, temple, etc.) goers.
The thought trend in monotheism is that GOD (singular) is responsible for everything, everywhere. Even evil itself only exists because He permits it.

I am really not all that up on all flavors of Satanism, as I understand it some, perhaps most of it is just humanism/atheistic, but not all. There is also theistic satanism where (again many flavors) Satan as seen and worshiped as a liberator and teacher. Not in a evil sense but in a rebellious sense
The latter is an opposing god, and the former is no god at all. Do you have an example that pertains to the OP?
Theistic Luciferianism is the closest I can come up with. There is a source God, but it’s impersonal, unknowable and almost a force. Lucifer is the one worshiped as the one who brings revelation, not all powerful and not all knowing (ever expanding, never complete), in essence eternal, . Not really in opposition to God in any way.
