Be fair now. The Giants picked up Vern Geishert in the Foster deal, too, not just Frank Duffy.

Then the Giants sent Duffy to Cleveland with Gaylord Perry for Sam McDowell.

My beloved Tribe has pulled some whoppers over the years:

Rocky Colavito to the Tigers for Harvey Kuenn;

Graig Nettles to the Yankees for the immortal Charlie Spikes.

The Colavito trade was about the most pointless trade in history. The Indians insane GM Frank Lane admitted that he traded Colavito, the AL Home Run Champ for the AL Batting Champ Kuenn just for the hell of it.
