You only think you jest! At least one iteration of the Galil battle rifle has a bottle-cap opener integrated with the magazine well. The previous edition of the weapon had a mag well that was convenient for popping bottle tops, but that mis-use was danaging things, so the next iteration, the armory just rolled with it, and incorporated the function.
