Worst last names you've heard, BUT- the name ACTUALLY MEANS what it says

There is a real estate agent here with the last name of Upthegrove

I met a woman once whose last name was Balogna. She married a Malarkey.

In my home town there was a woman name Laura Drinks.

Well, this one is kinda close to the OP. Back home in Hawaii, a few years back there was a Republican who was running for…Senate, I think, whose name was Orson Swindle. (He lost.)

Combine that with Noel and you definately have some problems to overcome.

Not quite what the OP meant but I used to work at a hospital and we had 2 Doctors that would cause double takes when they were paged.
Dr. Tepper, sounds a lot like the Soft Drink and Dr Bozoss came out as Dr Bozo.

The urologist who performed my husband’s vasectomy was Dr. Goodfriend.

I’d say it fits the OP!

I have three pretty good friends when the last names: Greedy, Crook, and Swindler. Now, it doesn’t describe their personalities at all, but I always thought they would make a great law firm.

When I was a young boy I had a babysitter whose name was Sally Cherry, she later married a man whose last name was Grove. I’m pretty sure she didn’t hyphenate the last names.

Hey, one of my best friend’s last name is Upthegrove. He said it is a corruption of a Dutch word that means ‘gravedigger’, but I don’t know if that’s true or not.

Just a bit of trivia relating to that name. The driver of the car involved in the wreck that killed James Dean was … Donald Turnipseed!

I once knew a knock-out beautiful girl named Candy Kiss. She was very sweet and all us teenage boys wanted to kiss her! Never did, though! :frowning:
